MP3 Renamer
Project Overview
Designed and developed a desktop file utility that converts file titles between Greek characters and Greeklish (Greek written using the Latin alphabet). Built for Windows using C++ and the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) framework, the tool streamlines batch file renaming for digital music collections.
Purpose
The primary objective of this project is to resolve character encoding and rendering issues on media players and embedded playback hardware that lacks native support for Greek characters. By automating title transliteration, the application enables seamless file management, media compatibility, and metadata readability across various legacy and modern audio hardware systems
Key Features & Capabilities
- Bidirectional title transliteration (Greek to Greeklish and vice versa)
- Flexible processing modes supporting individual file renaming or bulk directory processing
- Built with C++ and MFC for fast, desktop-native performance
